Sitting here in a sugar coma after finding Pixie Sticks at the gas station while I was checking out. I haven't had these since I was about 10. I honestly didn't know they still made them. Pixie sticks weren't my favorite, it was the ice pop things. They sold them for 10 cents each at the store by my grandparents. Me and my best friend used to pool our money and buy them by the dozens.

It got me remembering and wondering...

What was your favorite sweet as a child that you haven't seen in a while? How long ago did you last have it? If you saw it randomly at a store you stopped in, would you buy it today?

Fun Dip. Just a bag of sugar in 3 compartments and a candy stick. Like an encore.


I would get it from the ice cream truck that came to the community pool on no schedule. I think it was like $1.25 which I thought was extremely expensive but worth it.

Besides that...big league chew, grape flavor was like nectar of the Gods to 8 year old me.

I'm not really a big candy fan now- cake frosting straight from the premade jar yes.
