Contact Specialist - Recent Graduate

Bumping this, but our recent job fair visit to ODU was canceled. That said, for any college graduate (or soon to be graduated (even December), I highly recommend attending if you want to be in the contracting career field. Any vetted member that is a veteran and interested, send me a PM with your email address and I will send you all the details when I know of the next job fair. We offer jobs on the spot as an intern. Interns for us start as a GS 5 or a 7 (with a 3.0 GPA or higher) and will be on a 7/9/11/12 track. What that means is each year you will receive a promotion to the next pay grade with a guarantee grade of GS 12 upon graduation of the internship program. I made GS 13 in 5 years in a career field that had nothing to do with my job as a Grunt. While some officers or senior SNCO's can walk in as a 13, outside of the intel field I dont know of many fields where this happens.

For any non Veteran's, unless you graduated from ODU this particular job fair will not be open to you, sorry. I can however at least keep my ears open for whenever our Philly or Mechanicsburg office has one to see what college they job fair they are attending.

Currently there is a B.S degree with at least 24 business credit hour requirement, however in the near future that 24 business credit hour requirement is going away.

Application received and I was told I'm a qualified candidate and my application was forwarded to the hiring manager. Waiting on an opportunity to interview.

Is the ACWA the same for all career fields? I searched online and the only sample test they have is about 6 questions. I'm looking for something that will better prepare me.

Shoot me a PM if you (sorry late responding. I hope you have been interviewed by now but just in case).

Applied for another 1102 position with the VA, based off education. This listing specifically states "bachelor's in any subject". I noticed there are a few hundred 1102 positions across the country. In the field I am hoping to get into, Health Systems Specialist, there are only 70.
