Hey everyone,
A little about me - I have no prior service. I took the school route out of high school and have been doing that ever since, ultimately obtaining my PhD in exercise physiology. I got into the field to make a meaningful contribution to my community and find ways through research and practice to help people live healthier lives. Hopefully I have accomplished that. Through the process, though, I realized academics was not my calling - at least for now. Having just graduated at 29 years old, I am pursuing SF. I have been working with my recruiter to make this happen. Through my many Google searches of the topic to try and sift through the information available, I kept landing on this forum so I thought it would be wise to join and learn from those who have gone before me.
There is a wealth of knowledge on here. Thank you for those that take the time to share what they know to those that are trying to soak up everything they can.
