I am an 0311 in the USMC Reserves. I have browsed these pages occasionally , while looking for information related to future career decisions for quite some time. At last, I feel like I ought to make a profile and introduce myself. I am currently 2 years into a B.S. in Paramedic Science, I am a Corporal, and I am talking to an OSO about going to the dark side possibly. I am a little older (29), but I Crossfit 5 days a week, run 2 days a week and am clearly in the best shape of my life (280 PFT without any specific training, or even taking a rest day in advance). I guess the reason I am studying Emergency Medical Care is that there is a part of me that would like to remain enlisted and be some sort of high speed Doc (like a SARC or 18D). I know my wife would prefer I spent my time sitting in a COC tent somewhere, while enjoying significantly higher pay, but I like being on patrol. I have only done a single deployment (OEF 10-1 10-2), but it made a very lasting impression. My biggest regret is not joining when I was younger. So, that's me. I appreciate anyone who took the time to read this. I also apologize for the lack of traditional essay structure, but I am drinking Cabernet Sauvignon tonight because I just got back from Bridgeport and I am tired as hell.
