I am a third generation veteran. My grandfather was an translator in the Big Red One in WWI. Both my Mother and Father were Navy veterans of WWII and I am a Navy veteran of Desert Storm and Southern Watch. I was a Cryptological Technician Maintenance onboard the USS Chosin CG-65 home ported in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. I was a duty section trainer in Shipboard Security Engagement Tactics as well as a founding member to the Ships Nuclear Guard Force. I had training as a Ships Rescue Swimmer. Prior to joining the Navy I served as a First Aider on the Ambler Community Ambulance and while attending Penn State University I became an EMT and ran with the University Ambulance as well as the Penn State Rescue Squad. For my senior project I developed the Hazardous Materials Unit for the Ambulance.
