Hello. My name is Jackson and I am 19 years old. From Portland, Oregon currently in university in Utah.
On this site for some advice and some real information on the military not from a recruiter. Was going to enlist in the Army right after high school but decided to spend a semester at university to do some more maturing, I guess. I am planning on enlisting after this semester (semester ends in a couple weeks as of today) and trying to become an Army Ranger. Whenever people ask me why I am doing this, I usually respond with "It's just something I want to do" which is pretty accurate although I do have other reasons. I have many opportunities in my life, but I am drawn to the military and the 75th Ranger Regiment.
