Josh Vandenbrink has 14 years of Special Operations experience. He served his entire time in the military as an Air Force Pararescueman conducting countless read world combat and civilian missions. Over the last 12 years, he served as a Team Leader and MFF Jumpmaster at five Pararescue Squadrons to include Iceland and Alaska where he executed missions in the open ocean and the remote backcountry above the arctic circle.

Vandenbrink has deployed to combat 20 times over his career between Afghanistan, Iraq, and Africa both as a Pararescueman and in other government capacities. He has numerously employed all of his combat skills and knows what it is to treat causalities under fire.

Josh has trained combat rescue and emergency medicine to most of the U.S. military’s Tier 1 teams as well as a dozen foreign nations from Europe, Asia, Central and North America, Africa, and the Middle East.

The two day tactical medicine course covers the basics of Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) as well as the management of common injuries we see in our everyday lives. The aim of this course is to equip you with the knowledge and ability to keep you and your loved ones safe until help arrives. Whether you are on the range, in the backcountry, or encounter an active shooter, the initial decisions you make can determine the outcome of the situation.

In this course you will learn how to properly plan ahead to help with critical decision-making, as well as source and build a medical kit for any environment.
Day one consists of you gaining the knowledge and know-how utilizing lectures and hands on training with simulated patients and equipment. Day two consists of lectures and various medical scenarios.
