I'm a "gun guy" but I dont go on any gun sites. I also used to manage and teach at a local indoor shooting range. There are some great people in the gun community, but also some of the biggest closed-minded douchebags that walk the planet.

So, I was a qualified squad marksman, so I had a SAM-R. I commented on a thread on that forum about the SAM-R. I was dog-piled, told I was wrong. Peace out, you do you. That site was nuts.

Well over 95% percent doing the dogpiling, were either clerks, fuelers, supply, mechanics, or some other weenie MOS and not the ones who actually had to use them. They ran the Recon Marine off who was a wealth of knowledge about it. I think that @Marauder06 knows whom I am speaking of.

The ones who cried the loudest when Glock lost to Sig? Definitely not one of the people who would be issued one even.

First, I can admit Glock makes a great handgun. I've owned them, but I also think Sig, S&W, etc make great firearms. Glock cultists are the worst. You mention another brand and they start foaming at the mouth.

All true. Glock toxic fandoms make us Glock owners and users all looking bad. However it was the CS and CSS MOS's that were making the loudest noise when they tried using that appeal to their mil authority fallacy, haha.

Come to think of it, I don't think that I have ever seen the gluckers (yes, I spelled it with a "u" instead of "o") tear each other apart in their Glock service pistol clone picture threads. Blue on blue I guess is an unsaid no-no rule.

Its really a shame that people who should be the most united folks in the country are so divided. My dad was mostly an old FUDD. He was a big game hunter and loved old lever guns, bolt action, and revolvers. But he also enjoyed the sport/ hobby so much that he enjoyed talking to young shooters and also shooting my modern firearms. Right before he passed, he bought a P365 and and Mini 14. He was evolving and never closed minded or judgemental. Today's "enthusiasts" can be so fucking annoying.

I've almost completely outside of here, stopped helping folks online or in person with gun things. I am overtired of being eaten alive for nearly anything and everything because some crotchety POS is seeking to break a random down in order to falsely validate his own poor decisions.

However with this being said, I just showered a kiddo that was only four years in the Army with a CAV unit from Bliss with free cloner things because he was a nice kid to chat with when he bought an item online from me.
