This is a pretty cool 10 minute video. A few observations-

I think it would be fun to watch this with people who really enjoy music and be able to pause and discuss.

Such as:

It was interesting to see how long Elton John hung in there.

Metallica shows up in ‘90’ (The Black Album).

I would have thought Prince would last longer.

Not one rock band in the last 10 years.

Hope you guys enjoy.

Pretty cool chart.

It was fun to watch throughout the 90s and play "when will AC/DC pop up for a quarter".

I have two YouTube channels I really enjoy for music history/insight.

Finn Mckenty's The Punk Rock MBA
He does a lot of history of genres, and focuses on things from a marketing perspective.
One of his opinions from the linked video is that rock bands are falling off because solo artists are easier to market and more connecting with audiences.

The other is Vox's Earworm series.

The linked video is examining the trend of falsetto singing in men and how popular it is. They've done other good ones on the National Anthem's difficulty, why "Trout Heart Replica" is considered a masterpiece, and even how flows in rap have evolved.
