Hey yal,

I've been reading up a lot on all the opposition of Trump's pardons for a few of the tried and convicted soldiers for war crimes overseas, especially LT. Clint Lorance. What is all your opinions on trump being able to just pardon them, especially with all the facts not being there saying that he went through the channels to get advice and recommendations from the department of justice.

second question, this one is for all you who have been on combat deployments. Do you feel the Gov't is sending you in harms way but quick to throw you under the bus when put forced to make some not easy decisions? Are we as the soldier/airman/marines really in the best interest to the military justice system?

Constitution is clear to POTUS’ “ability” to pardon but is it politically wise? That’s for voters to decide.

I personally was never conflicted with our ROEs.

No offense intended, but we've already got eleventy-seven Trump/Political threads. Please try to find one of them to ask your questions in.
