Tsunami Watch for Hawaii due to 7.8 magnitude earthquake in Kuril Islands, first wave due at 10:42 p.m.

Edit: Watch cancelled for Hawaii, possible threat for Alaska and West Coast still in effect.

Glad to hear it. When I was there, we were always put on stand-by for tsunamis. Never got a wave there worth mentioning...I think the biggest one was like two feet.
