82nd Airborne Loses Paratrooper in Training Accident

So very sad. Especially hits home as this young warrior was from Vegas and his names (first and last) are those of my two oldest sons.

It is with great sadness that the Falcon Brigade announces the death of one of our brother Paratroopers.

Pvt. Joshua D. Phillips, 19, of Las Vegas, Nevada, was a combat engineer with Alpha Company, 37th Engineer Battalion and died Thursday night during an airborne training exercise at the Joint Readiness Training Center at Fort Polk, Louisiana.

The incident is under investigation.

Please keep the Falcons, the 37th Engineer Battalion and Pvt. Phillips' family and friends close to your hearts and in your prayers.
