Hello I'm prior enlisted 8482 HM. I got out last year and am coming on to my 1 year mark out-of-service. For the past year I have been contemplating about my time in and the things I've done while active. Four out of my five years I was stationed at a hospital. My primary goals were to obtain as much medical training and knowledge as possible through military medicine and I strayed away from anything combat-related or operational because it was not of interest to my ultimate goal of going to med school. However, having lived the civilian life and attending university for the last year I have had the urge to re-enlist and do something worthwhile. Going to talk with a recruiter tomorrow about re-enlisting and hopefully get SARC Pipeline opportunity in my contract. I have a buddy in the pipeline right now and a few SEL mentors sort of motivating me through the process. Looking forward to getting to know people with similar experiences with getting out and coming back in.
