Good film about an actual HH-53 Jolly Green rescue mission with A-1s and OV-10s running escort and suppression. Real combat footage, original comm. (And narrated by George C. Scott).

This is an Air Force documentary on CSAR TTP and PJs circa 1968. Scripted, but actual rescue footage with badly injured pilot.

Thanks for this. A few months back I was saying in the book thread that I'd picked one up about fighter pilots/WSOs in Vietnam. One of the stories is about a guy who had his Thud shot down from under him and the subsequent rescue. During the briefing the other lead asked him to go over the RESCAP (sp) SOPs. He tells the guy, don't worry about that, I'll run it- so the guy asks him what happens if he gets shot down? They went over it.
