I am currently reading Bing West's The Village, which dicusses a Marine Corps Combined Action Platoon's actions in defending a village from the Viet Cong, and am fascinated by the work these men did. I did a search online and was only able to find broad overviews of what they did. I was wondering if anyone knew of similar books relating to the work these Marines did and/or books relating to similar operations outside of Vietnam.
