BREAKING: Navy F/A-18E crashes off the coast of Virginia Beach
The Coast Guard confirms that a Navy F/A-18E aircraft crashed approximately 45 miles off the coast of Virginia Beach around 2:45 p.m.


The jet was from Strike Fighter Squadron 143 (VFA-143) attached to Carrier Air Wing Seven (CVW-7) at Oceana Naval Air Station.
