Farmer interested in Civil Affairs

Hello, all. I am a farmer managing a commercial farming operation. I recently met a Civil Affairs reservist and got to talking with him. He was full of terrific stories of doing "VETCAPS" in Africa and working with village elders to better situate town wells and all manner of terrific-sounding stories. It really piqued my interest in Civil Affairs.
Thank you for providing this forum, it is a terrific resource.
