Thank you for welcoming me back. Something about me: I am not military, but married a Marine and raised one. I am a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and consider myself a patriot. I came back to thank you all for the help and support you gave me at a time there was none. My son was "inducted" into the 1st Marines Special Operations Bn 26 Oct. 2006. The officers pulled him aside at MOS graduation to join a brand new company of experienced Force Recon and Recon Marines. Since they were just in the process of standing up the company there was not a Family Readiness program and our friends with children in the corps had never heard of MARSOC. Searching the net I found your site and so many willing to answer my questions and offer tips and advice about being the parent with a son in Special Operations. Thank you, thank you.
