Hello everyone. I am currently serving within the Air Force Special Operations community and have been looking for further information on the career fields. I have served with Combat Controllers and Pararescuemen in the past and feel that it is high time for me to change pace and try my hand at the pipeline. With that said, I am open to all advice, criticisms, and anecdotes and thank anyone ahead of time for providing such information or amusement. Just from lurking while my account was waiting to be approved I learned a fair amount and have realized that even the members on this forum are a relatively tight knit group. Also, thank you for the account approval.

To be completely honest, its also my XBOX name. Everything I wanted was already taken when I was making my account so I just use the same name for pretty much anything now so I don't get confused or forget which username belongs to which forum or account.

Whats that mean in non Airforce talk?

F.M.

From specialtactics.com

3.4.3. 3P051B. Qualification in and possession of AFSC 3P031B. Also, experience in functions such as classroominstruction(sic), marksmanship fundamentals and techniques, weapons and range safety, subdepot level firearm maintenance andrepair(sic), range operations and safety criteria, or controlling and storing weapons and ammunition.

Wow, the phrase "combat arms" means something TOTALLY different to me. He literally works on arms (i.e. weapons) used for combat. Combat arms. Way to make sense for once, Air Force!
