Hello,
My name is Garland F. Byers, Jr., and I live in western North Carolina. I am a practicing Attorney and have been for the past 19 years. 4 of those years were served as an Assistant District Attorney in District 29A in North Carolina. Prior to that, I was a law enforcement officer for 8 years with my last position being a criminal investigator for the State of North Carolina. During law school, I worked as a private investigator in NC and also as a counterintelligence investigator with specialized training in technical surveillance countermeasures. I hold basic, intermediate, and advanced law enforcement professional certifications from the NC Department of Justice.
