My name is Jay and I've been in the USAF for just over 14 years. My specialty is Mental Health (4C0X1/SEI475) with certification as a substance abuse counselor. After spending nearly all of those 14 years in clinical settings, I've finally departed from the clinics and now reside on Group Staff at an ISR billet doing the "operational" side of psychology. I'm hoping to continue on my operational psych path to a SOF billet and/or HUMINT opportunities after my time in ISR has ended. STS and JSOC are both tops of my list, so I'm hoping to get a better feel for the communities through my readings/interactions here. If all else fails, SERE Psych is my 'fall back' plan; not too shabby of a fall-back.
