Hey guys, my name's Josh. I'm still in high school, but I have a Navy HM contract. Growing up on/near the New England's coast I've always been fascinated with the ocean. When I was 16 I began looking into various branches in the military and finally decided on the Navy. My dad had actually been in the Navy and for the longest time I always thought I'd rather be a marine or army grunt than be stuck on a boat. The Navy really only became an option to me because of the SEALs. The more I looked into it and read about it the more I wanted to become one. In July after junior year I went to MEPS and was classified as not having normal color perception (disqualifying me). I've taken a PIP test since and have passed it, but I need an additional doctors note saying I was misdiagnosed. I've been trying to find a way into the SEALs ever since. It's still the only thing I want in my life, and I cant stop trying to find a way to earn my trident.
