Hello my name is Jake i am nineteen years old and want to become a Combat Controller. For some time now i have been interested in Air Force Special Tactics, specifically Combat Control. Prior to discovering Combat Control my only drive in life was to become Firefighter. I graduated High School and attended a local Fire Academy, then went on to becoming an EMT and am now working as a seasonal Firefighter in a small rural community.
I am curious about how stringent the physical is that the docotrs give you to be cleared for your job, my recruiter told me that it is pretty in depth which is fine; But she also mentioned that i can be disqualified for something as little as the doctor not liking the way my knee moves or something minuscule like that. This worries me because i grew up racing dirt bikes and frequently found myself in the E.R. Does anyone know of a way that i can find out the guidelines for the physical or any kind of information i could give to my doctor so he could administer the sam type of tests? Any information will be greatly appreciated thank you.
