Hello everyone. I'm a former college athlete currently doing time as an analyst at a small investment firm. I've been interested in the military since I was quite young, and was introduced to the world of special operations by a teammate on my high school swim team who showed me a video of SEAL training. Over the years, I've done quite a bit more research, and it's been eating at me that I should pursue a career in special operations. I was a golfer in college, so I was not a super-athlete by any means, but I have a background in many different sports and have managed to get myself into pretty good shape since graduating college. Now that a career in special operations is within reach, I'm trying to decide what best suits my interests, as well as which branch/unit would allow me to best utilize my skills to further the incredible work that you all do for this country. I'm very interested in the SEAL teams, and SF to an extent, but I'm hoping to learn more about the other options out there to ensure that I make the right choice. Thank you all for your service, and I look forward to learning from the wealth of knowledge on this site.
