Hey everyone,
Thought I would get on here and start my introduction. What a great site by the way! I honestly had no idea about SS until I googled something about Pararescue and there it was. Just been getting a feel for the site for about a day now and can't believe the amount of information I've gained already.
A little about me. My name is Riley, I'm 21 years old and I live in the rainy state of Washington. I've grown up most of my life in Olympia WA, and currently work as a maintenance tech for a company that takes care of all the housing on Joint Base Lewis McChord. I love the green forest and mountains around here. During the two weeks of summer we actually get here, it's a beautiful place! But I'm ready to get out of here and explore some new territory. So I have enlisted in the Air Force and recently signed my contract GTEP for PJ! I'm extremely excited to start the journey in my dream of hopefully one day becoming a PJ but just as excited to serve my country and be the best Airman I can be wherever I end up. I've always had great interest in serving, but it took me a few years and a few long days at crappy jobs I hated to figure out that I wanted more than this out of my life. So after 3 years of debating on making the commitment I finally did, now I'm down to a few more months and I'm on my way out of here.
Well that's about it for me, looking forward to absorbing as much information as possible and reading what you guys have to say. Thanks for allowing me to be a part of the community here and hopefully soon I will be able to contribute back to you guys.
