My name is Slider496, I'm a currently serving Infantryman in the Marine Corps. I enlisted open Infantry contract and was voluntold
in bootcamp to report to Marine Barracks Washington to await my security clearance and prepare to stand guard at Camp David. I was at MBW for 18 months.
After moving to Camp and completing the program I was given orders to Victor 2/1 Camp Pendleton. I am currently on PCS leave.
Currently I have approx. 17 months left on my contract. I am definitely seeking to stay within the tactical realm in some capacity, and as MARSOC has always been an interest of mine, I figured I'd take the time to learn as much as possible before committing to that particular career path.
Regardless of my decision I have always viewed SOF as the finest the military has to offer, and the chance
