I was an 18D at 5thSFG(A) from 2005-9. I am now getting my MD and going back into the Army as a physician. I did two deployments to Iraq, one to Jordan and the UAE. I'm here to just stay connected to the SOF community because it is generally full of great people (though there's a turd in every punchbowl). Also, if anyone has questions about the Health Provider Scholarship Program (HPSP), I will do my best to answer them.

Oh ye of little faith....
Haha... I'm just going by the notice I got when I sent my stuff in yesterday. I'm down with faster. Though I'm about to start my final year of school, so I really should be studying instead of joining a internet community. I justify it by reading threads in combat medicine. :-"

Are you planning on going back into the service as a doctor? I know a few 18D's that have done that, and others who have gone the PA route. One guy I know got accepted for a USHUS slot, he's very close to finishing or he just graduated.

I am going back in. I also know a former 18d at USUHS who is in his third year. There are about 20 dudes I know (or of, not necessarily well) who are former 18d's or PJs, hell even an 18A. Some going back in, some out, some being physicians in the National Guard. It is kind of an eclectic group.

I don't know. Wouldn't surprise me. Pm me. I don't think there are more than about two 18Ds at USUHS right now.

Thanks for all the welcomes guys! I look forward to reading and hopefully contributing a little around here.
