Introduction

would like to introduce myself as gnorr7. I just turned 19, and I currently just completed my freshman year of college. I am a two sport athlete I play football (Defensive back), and I run track (400m Hurdles,400m). I have always had interest in joining the army and attempting to become a green beret and/or ranger, but in the last 7 months my interest has become much more serious. I began researching and reading, and have come to the conclusion that attempting to get an option 40 contract would be a good fit for me. That way I can enlist and start my military career sooner, and also I can have the opportunity to go to RASP In the mean time I will be doing more research on these forums, and anywhere I can find information. Of course all Info/recommendations are welcome. Feel free to Direct message me at anytime.

A few notes - a Green Beret is a hat made of wool, a Special Forces soldier wears it; Ranger is always capitalized when talking about the 75th Ranger Regiment or 3rd RSTB; Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps (Marine/Marines), Coast Guard are capitalized. This is a matter of respect to those that serve or who have earned the honor of being in an SOF unit.
