Hello shadowspear community, I would like to thank you for the ablity to be part of such an honored society. My name is BB, prior Army 11c. I joined the army when I was able to enlist myself, my dream was to become the best there is to offer, after looking at all my options I made a rational decision to join as infantry with hopes of gaining access to an elite brotherhood. Shortly after getting sent to bootcamp, I had a huge eye opener on my future in the military. My hopes at that young of a age was bigger than my wildest dreams could imagine. I was in perfect physical shape, but came to find my flaw. My mental toughness was not at a point to become a green beret. I was set to deploy with 4/1 cav and got out to deal with family issues. Now after some time out the army, I own a construction company in Charleston SC. Training my body and mind to work as one has become one of my greatest achievements, I now believe I possess what it takes to try for a 18x contract. Have spoken to recruiter and qualify, in transition from civilian back to military way of life. Thanks to all who spend there time reading. Will post more on outcome of future military career.
