Welcome to SS. The Rangers, and Special Forces are both SOF, however; there are big differences in how they do their jobs. Take the time to read thought the threads. There are Mentor areas for both Ranger and Special Forces, I'd suggest spending some time reading through those as well. Best of luck in your search, and future plans. I know you have a lot of questions right now, it is best to ask questions that have not already been answered. We respect those who do their homework first.
