Hello all! I'm a fresh Airborne 68W, heading into RASP and then SOCM. Been in since last January, AIT took a while for me because of an injury. I am a college grad, most of my coursework focused on biology, chemistry, and medical sciences. I'm mostly here seeking info on the SOCM course, as that has a much higher attrition rate than RASP for us medics. Hopefully I'll also be able to pick up some info and guidance on what it's like to be a line medic in the Regiment.

SOCM is a demanding course, intellectually and physically. The hardest part will be un-learning some of the things they taught in 68W and relearning the SOCM way.

Did you do a med hold? or did they make you go through the MEB process?

Just got set back 4 months. It sucked, but I made a full recovery after getting some custom insoles.
