Hello Fellow Members of Shadow Spear!
I am an Active Duty Officer (Butterbar) in the United States Air Force and currently work as an Developmental Engineer (More along the lines of keyboard warrior and paper pusher extraordinaire) at SATCOM squadron. Like many aspiring and established Special Operators in this community, I have always wanted to pursue a career within SOF. I'll admit that much of this interest began with the television commercials, movies, and video games at an earlier age but upon further study and exploration I discovered an even more desirable aspects of the SOF community. The biggest draws are the camaraderie, the team mentality, opportunities to travel to various countries and engage in clandestine activities, and a grueling training pipeline that produces some of the finest and most commendable of men. I am currently preparing for the Battlefield Airmen careers and Special Tactics Officer (CCT), Combat Rescue Officer (PJ), and Air Liaison Officer (TACP). I am also exploring the options of an Interservice Transfer to the Marines or Army if available. I look forward to the privilege of working alongside members within the Special Operations Community and to becoming a contributor to this awesome forum!
