Lance Reddick - Blue Skies

Ordinarily, a celebrity's passing wouldn't phase me, but a genuinely good dude died today. John Wick, Bosch, The Wire, Fringe, and so on. He was also the voice of Commander Zavala in my favorite video game, the Destiny series. Just an amazing actor and I've never seen a bad word about the guy.

I always enjoyed the man’s acting, but I have to say his comedy work was great. He played the straight man very well. Godspeed Mr. Reddick.

It has been pretty amazing to see the different genres he was known from and where he had the most impact in certain groups. I’ll always know him for John Wick, others from The Wire and still others who may have never seen either, but are saddened to lose the voice of their favorite video game. What a career.
