List of WWII Flying Aces

One of our Naval Aviators just got a DFC for shooting down a Syrian MIG in 2017. That prompted me to look up WW2 Aces...Pretty interesting list, especially the incredible number of kills. It's pretty much all Germany until you get way down the list to Dick Bong.

Well down the list is Keith "Bluey" Truscott, a 2 time Premiership player with the Melbourne Football Club. Bluey barely passed his training, he struggled to judge height and consistently levelled out at about 20 feet too high. This ultimately probably killed him, he died in an accident while mock diving a Catalina off the coast of Western Australia on a particularly calm day.
