Wildlife officials say a man who fought off a young mountain lion on a northern Colorado trail killed the animal by choking it.

That's very interesting. I wouldn't have expected a modern man, who presumably doesn't have a lot of experience fighting large predatory wild animals, to be able to not only fight off but to kill something big that that to be big by murdering and eating things it encountered in the woods. I guess maybe if it was old and sick...
