My new favorite sheriff (W. Virginia flood related)

Love this quote from the Sheriff.

"The Nallen/Russellville area suffered extensive damage during the recent floods. Many citizens of this area have lost everything. We are now receiving reports of looters and thieves coming into the area. This WILL NOT BE TOLERATED!" the Fayette County Sheriff's Department announced on Facebook. "If the residents of this area catch you first, you may not make it to jail."

In that part of the country, what the Sheriff is saying is very accurate. Just about everyone in and around that area are armed. Even before the flooding, the folks up there do not takez kindly to strangers. Census takers were chased out at gun point. Now with their property damaged and easy to get into, the locals will shoot. Their legal system stands behind its people.
