Thank you for the opportunity to a part of such an honorable group. Myself, I have no military experience directly, but a lifetime devoted to the study of history and strategy.
As a published writer I had many opportunities to interview veterans from every war back to World War Two. Those experiences were most humilifying.
Having regrettably missed my opportunity to serve in the armed forces, I train regularly with a few Marine buddies, prep, and serve my community in other ways. I'm also a ham radio operator and an active member of my local state preparedness project. I am not a member of any organized militia.
But if the situation ever arises for my service to be needed or wanted, I'll be there. That's why I'm preparing now.
