Working shift work (LE) I don’t see my boys too much during the week, so I try to make them know dad is thinking about them. Today I set up their Army men in an unwinnable situation (disregard that, they’re Rangers, they’ll win!) vs the T-Rex/ Stegosaurus. The helicopter has some SPIESing (correct term?) soldiers infiling for support. If you look close, the Ranger Mortarman is ready to send some 60mm HE even while preping to infill (mask and overhead clearance be damned!).
Now, when my wife asks, “why did you buy all that stupid rope” I can tell her, “well...dear, actually it’s 550 cord and it’s so I can make our boys happy.” Hahahaha
