Three local civilians were killed and 16 wounded in the attack.
The remaining injuries have been treated and continue to be monitored or have been released.
One of the three killed, and presumed target of the attack, was Sher Nawaz, a head elder of the Ahmadzai Waziri, who was reportedly singled out for his long-time support of the government of Afghanistan.
In addition to Nawaz, two teenage girls were killed, each dying from significant head injuries.
