Well done MSgt Chase. One of only 3 Airmen to receive two Silver Stars.

From his first Silver Star: He was responsible for more than 300 enemy casualties and the destruction of 29 tanks, three heavy cargo trucks, nine automatic anti-aircraft guns, 14 anti-aircraft pieces, nine 155 mm artillery, 22 82 mm mortars, six 60 mm mortars, eight ammunition caches and 10 enemy boats, according to the citation.

Do you know what unit he was with when he earned his second Silver Star?

A well done for Master Sgt. Thomas E. Case.

The article, however, needs to stipulate "A Fort Bragg airman will become one of just three Air Force members to receive two Silver Stars" a bit better. This assertion is incorrect if the only" includes" the Southeast Asia conflicts.

Reference http://www.pjsinnam.com/Medals/Silver_Star.htm Listed is 10 airmen who received two Silver Stars and 5 airmen who received 3 Silver Stars.
