-Vietnam War, 1968 - Comic Book Style FM for the M16A1

Official 1968 era FM rendered in comic book style, with innuendo laced section titles such as “How To Strip Your Baby” and other humorous bits. What makes this such an interesting piece of military history is that this FM was distributed in support of the newly issued M16A1 during the Vietnam War and all the comic book illustrations depict settings that are in country.

This was a gift from my uncle that I received sometime in the mid 70s.

Oh, yeah, I remember that book well.

The thing that bothered us the most was that the pictures were already colored in! What the hell to do with all these crayons....
