They had an issue on a drop test where they would go off without squeezing the trigger. I have never tested this on my two P320's but the recall took care of those who wanted to remove the hand grenade function
One of our local police departments switched from P320s to Glocks after one of their officers had a P320 discharge by itself, unmanipulated, in its Safariland holster during rush hour in a large train station. In fact, they wanted to do it so quickly they borrowed 350 Glocks from PPD until their order arrived.
If I remember correctly, the issue was discovered in military pistols and SIG moved quickly to fix them. Unfortunately, they didn’t move quite as fast to fix those pistols they sold to police departments or civilians. They did offer a free safety upgrade, and that tells you something.
