A Night Stalker was killed and two were injured late Wednesday night when a Blackhawk helicopter made a "hard landing" at Hunter Army Airfield.
The incident happened at11:24 p.m. when a 3rd Battalion, 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment MH-60 Blackhawk tried landing during routine training at Hunter, according to a news release from Fort Campbell.
Those injured were taken to a local hospital for treatment. The name of the Night Stalker killed has not yet been released pending notification of the next of kin.
