160th SOAR (A) dedicates compound in honor of former special operations leader

FORT CAMPBELL, Ky. (USASOC News Service, May 11, 2012) – The 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (Airborne) will honor retired Gen. Bryan “Doug” Brown, by naming one of its compounds after him in a ceremony May 14 at Fort Campbell.
During his distinguished 40-year career, Brown was involved in combat operations in Vietnam, Grenada, Kuwait, Iraq and other operations. Brown commanded the 160th SOAR (A), Joint Special Operations Command, U.S. Army Special Operations Command, and U.S. Special Operations Command.

Reporters interested in attending the ceremony must contact the 160th SOAR (A) Public Affairs Office by May 11 before 5 p.m. at (270) 412-8108 or e-mail rs5@soar.army.mil.
