FORT CAMPBELL, Ky. (UNS-CI, Oct. 15, 2007) – The Night Stalkers recognized 12 Army Civilians with civil service milestone certificates and performance achievement awards.

“I am humbled to be able to recognize 210 years of federal service to our nation,” said Col. Kevin Mangum, Commander, 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment. “From five to 45 years of service; that’s pretty remarkable.”

Recognized for their service to the government of the United States were:

Mr. William Linder, Equipment Specialist, 45 years of service

Mr. Mark Stailey, Transformation Management Analyst, 30 years of service

Mrs. Bertha Balser, Operations Assistant, 20 years of service

Mrs. Annette Gatson, Human Resource Specialist, 20 years of service

Mrs. Godfrey Powell, Battalion Command Secretary, 20 years of service

Mrs. Joyce Smith, Supply Technician, 20 years of service

Mr. Ralph Scruggs, Regiment Engineer, 20 years of service

Mr. Johan Tress, Recruiting Office Clerk, 15 years of service

Mrs. Lynnett Urbi, Budget Analyst, 15 years of service

Mrs. Stacy Beere, Commander’s Secretary, Five years of service

Army Civilians Terry Spears and Charlie Outlaw were also recognized for superior performance to the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment.

“I want to thank everybody for what you do and how you do it,” Mangum told the audience of civilians and Soldiers. “We wouldn’t be where we are, who we are or doing what we do without each and every one of you doing your part.”
