All the SEALs out there-
How would you say most 17 and 18 year old kids do in BUD/S?
Do most DOR, or is it the same as everyone else?
Good idea to go right in or bad?

I am not a SEAL, and have not "been there and done that", but many people who have have suggested I go to college first because it can't hurt and plenty of SEALs have a degree they say. I would also like to know what people think though because I plan on just signing DEP my senior year.

I've heard the same. I want to know what the Team guys think- I'm sure a few of them probably did the same thing.

IIRC, the only 17 year old to have ever graduated BUD/S was Scott Helvenston.

If there's anybody else at that age, then I'm clueless about it.

Rest Easy Scottie :(

I remember the documentary on class 234- their youngest guy was turning 18 on the day of graduation.
