Get in touch with the match director and get a list of the course of fire to be used, especially for the EIC matches and the battle rattle shoot's. Then just practice those, the biggest issue is getting proper zero's early in the match. Some people do it differently, but I get a zero 100-500m in 100m increments. Take the hold off/hold over guesstimation out of it, and allows you to adjust to the exact distance (I just mark the wind and elevation knobs with zero and 2,3,4,5).
Pistol is normally pretty straightforward, it really needs be accuracy based. To be competitive the shooter really need to be fine tuned. Some of my buddies will be shooting the same match, they generally shoot almost perfect scores and end up counting X's to decide matches. So focus on the fundamentals and shoot bull's-eye at 25&50m.
Other than that, just make some cheat cards on the details of each match (300prone, 200 kneeling, 100 standing, etc) so that you can mentally rehearse your people before they shoot each match. And most of all, have fun!!!
You can post any specific questions here or PM me and I will give you what I know or put you in touch with the right people.
