Good Morning,
I'm from LA, and was drawn to this community after starting some research over the last month. I'm not currently enlisted yet have set my first appointment with a recruiter for Monday. My background is in IT and aspects of finance. That being said, the draw of this community lies in it's no bs mentality and is also due to a past experience with an Intel community member and their family. I look forward to learning more as this process develops. I am new to virtually everything here, and love direct honesty and people from New Jersey. Thank you all for your active participation here and the time spent on it.

Current Stats:
- 25, one juvenile felony that I did disclose to the recruiter and 6 years sober. I am prepared to answer their questions and know this can disqualify me from participation regarding security clearances.
- Good old civil air patrol cadet prior to getting myself in trouble and spiraling downwards in highschool.
- Part of my impetus is due to doing well with direct instructions(grew up in a cultish church and found that structure serves me well, in spite of perceived negatives growing up).
- I love that my family and friends can bitch about 5 dollar lattes & getting their newest phone taking too long, and express their beliefs & want them and my godson to be able to in the future.
