The author of these videos is SPC Jason Bogar. He had deployed twice with the National Guard. He was going to go to film school, but instead decided to go active and deployed for a third time to Afghanistan with C Co, 2/503rd IN, 173rd Airborne BCT.
He was killed in the Battle of Wanat on 13 July 2008, along with 8 of his comrades.
