Just finished season 11. After all the tapouts, 3 final contestants remained who lasted 80+ days …all incredibly qualified bushcrafters who ate all season, never starved, and for the most part, thrived. There was a dude who went home in the first couple of weeks who stuck himself in the thigh with an arrow, had he not been injured, I think he could have been a force, too.
I watched a dude make a hook (and catch fish) with a bone from the moose he killed, another use a 12’ pole with a wire at the end to ‘snare’ grouse at will, and a shelter that was more of a house than a shelter.
Producers listened to the feedback and found folks who were more than capable out there…by far my favorite season yet.
